Matt Stuhler
Matt Stuhler is a wilderness medicine certified AMGA instructor who enjoys sharing his passion for climbing with others. After two deployments as a Marine Infantryman to Afghanistan, being wounded in action overseas, and walking the veterans' path of transition to civilian life, Matt found rock climbing to be a particularly valuable and therapeutic practice for those seeking to improve their mental, physical and spiritual well-being.
After serving as a guide for numerous organizations throughout the US for several years, Matt formed Outdoor Wellness Group in 2020, a veteran-centric guiding service to assist vets and their families with the challenges of military service and the ensuing transition.
For the past 10 years, Matt has been guiding rock climbing trips throughout the United States and abroad. Matt lives with his wife and son in Tryon, North Carolina. He has guided individuals from 6 to 68 years old, speaks English and Spanish, is highly experienced with small & large groups, and is looking forward to making your next rock-climbing experience unforgettable!
